Uzo is a Consultant in MSK Rehabilitation and Physical Preparation and a Clinical Teaching Fellow at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham. He advises clinicians and organizations on performance optimisation and rehabilitation.
A former Royal Marines Commando and British Army Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Officer. He has MSc Degrees in both Strength and Conditioning and Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy and BSc Degrees in Applied Sports Science and Physiotherapy.
Uzo is a Professional Doctorate Candidate in Strength and Conditioning and Rehabilitation at St Marys University London and an UKSCA Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach (ASCC).
Uzo is founder of an educational website for early career therapists interested in MSK rehabilitation (www.IntegratedclinicalSandC.com). He is also an author and co- author of book chapters in The Shoulder Theory and Practice (High performance rehabilitation for the climbing athlete). Climbing Medicine - A practical guide with chapters in Injury prevention and climbing rehabilitation. He has also published in peer reviewed journals on the subject of musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
