Karen is Head of Health Intelligence at Versus Arthritis, a charity which invests in world-class research, delivers high quality services and campaigns on issues that matter most to people with arthritis. She leads on ensuring that there is high quality data and insight describing the experiences of people with arthritis. Karen has a PhD in genetic epidemiology and a background in large-scale linked data analysis. She focuses her work on using data to inform healthcare policy and implementation. She has a particular interest in making sure that lived experience shapes and informs the insight that is drawn from national administrative data sources.
