Faisal qualified in 2007 and completed core surgical training in Orthopaedics before qualifying as a GP in 2014. In 2015, he received an Arthritis Research UK (now Versus Arthritis) grant and did a postgraduate diploma in MSK medicine with the society of MSK medicine. he has worked as a GP with a specialist interest in MSK for several years before entering into a training in sports and exercise medicine. He is currently a registrar in the Oxford training programme.
