David is founder and past Chairman of Balens who specialise in insurance for Health and Well-being Professionals and are now part of PIB Group, Balens have been insuring Occupational Therapists, Case Managers and Other Health Professionals since the early 1990s. David has been a professional musician, Yoga Teacher and attended various Healing trainings and taught healing and advanced healing techniques and self-development for many years. He has been involved in the healing movement at national level for decades as trustee of the Confederation of Healing organisations, and an officer for UK Healers, who are the self-regulating and standard setting body for healing the UK. David was also for many years a trustee of the British Complementary Medical Association. Although the subjects David discusses can be complex and can sometimes be regarded as heavyweight, David brings clarity, interest and humour and an ethical slant to professional issues.
