Dr. Charles Mamisch, M.D., Ph.D., is an accomplished medical professional and executive with extensive experience in operational and strategic management, particularly in the healthcare and dental sectors. Since 2014, he has been a member of the Managing Board at LIFCO AB, overseeing 19 independent operations across various industries, including dental prosthetics, healthcare equipment, and medical treatment devices. He has also been actively involved in multiple M&A transactions within Europe and China. Before LIFCO, Dr. Mamisch served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board and consultant at MDH AG, where he played a key role in strategic development and process optimisation. His experience extends to roles at Merck Serono as Medical Director, focusing on imaging biomarkers and phase 2 clinical trials, and Siemens AG, where he contributed to R&D in orthopaedic imaging. Academically, Dr. Mamisch has held positions at Harvard Medical School and Swiss universities, coordinating research projects and supervising doctoral theses. He has published 112 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals and presented over 250 abstracts internationally. Additionally, he is the founding president of Mamisch Hilft e.V., an NGO with ongoing projects in Rwanda. His work has significantly impacted medical imaging, osteoarthritis treatment, and global healthcare initiatives.
