Ash James is currently the Director of Practice and Development for the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. Ash has worked in multiple MSK backgrounds during his career including private and independent practice, the NHS, Occupational Health and Professional Sport. He has also been involved extensively in education with time spent as the Head of Clinical Education for a large provider as well as a lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University. He was also involved in the first cohort of HEE Roadmap Supervisor trainers. Ash has a passion for evidence based practice and service delivery, understanding the patient needs to be at the heart of our decision making. Now spearheading the practice and development of physiotherapy through the professional body he intends to utilise this experience across all of the profession for the betterment of patient care”.
