Brought onboard as the company’s first fulltime employee in 2014, Global Partnerships Manager Alex Auld has played a pivotal role in the growth of the FitnessGenes brand over the past decade.
Having guided the development and launch of the FitnessGenes professional service, FitnessGenes Pro, Alex currently manages their global network of B2B partners, helping health and fitness professionals successfully integrate custom DNA testing solutions into their client services. His deep understanding of the product and formal training in client communications allows him to provide expert guidance on how to position DNA testing as a professional service and effectively deliver the results to clients.
An accomplished endurance athlete with professional qualifications in health and fitness, Alex also acts as a critical link between the in-house science team at FitnessGenes and their users, ensuring that all genetic reports are accessible to the general population while retaining their scientific credibility.
To support his varied roles at FitnessGenes, Alex was one of the students to complete the University of Cambridge’s Analysing Consumer Genetic Testing course, received under the guidance of geneticist and author Professor Giles Yeo.
