Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) constitute the third-largest clinical workforce. As autonomous practitioners, AHPs drive and lead essential changes necessary to address health inequalities. In the field of rheumatology, there is notable variation in the workforce, with disparities in geographical distribution and funding opportunities. AHPs play a crucial role in addressing health inequalities at the patient, carer, and organizational levels. AHP workforce is required and can help tackle workforce and satffing issues in Rheumatology. Learning from health inequalities project in Primary care for Rheumatology and discussions on future for AHPs in Rheumatology.
