Act now: what you can do to tackle MSK health inequalities in areas of deprivation
This participative workshop will give participants the opportunity to discuss in more detail how they might put into practice some of the recommendations of the ARMA report into MSK health inequalities and deprivation. This will include consideration of the needs of underserved communities and the importance of personalised care and supported self-management.
Brief presentations will include a service example, and an outline of the recommendations related to personalised care for those with low health literacy and low levels of agency in their lives.
Participants will have the opportunity in small groups to consider how they might address some of these issues, either in their clinical practice or at a service level.
