This session will describe the ESCAPE-pain programme, it’s ethos, evidence-base and its innovative approach to managing joint pain through education, self-management and behavioural change. The discussion will address the process of its wide implementation, highlighting the importance of clinical-community partnerships. Key benefits, including cost savings and staff development will be discussed and attendees will be invited to a follow-up session on day 2 to hear insights from providers successfully implementing the programme.
