The Hands-On Hub
Ethics & Professionalism
In this very interactive session, Martin will delve into the fluidity of the concept of professionalism. Through examples and humour, Martin will explore how the way we used to think about being professional can hold us down and how a change in our understanding will make it more applicable to everyday practice. Martin will share examples and ask for examples being shared by the attendees. This will be an open reflection and not a monologue. Heckling is encouraged.
- Theory to Practice:
- 1. How thinking differently about professionalism will make it easier to understand and uphold.
- 2. Wrong can also be right, but very wrong is always wrong.
- 3. We can't leave our humanity and personality behind.
